Earth speaks

In spirit with Earth Hour activities, this piece was recorded in darkness using equipment with a minimal electrical footprint.  It is a meditation on the planet on which we live the substance of its diverse landscape.

Playing the piano in complete darkness is an activity which I have found to be very fruitful in the creation of ideas and enhanced focus it can bring to sound with the diminished presence of visual stimuli.  I have applied this activity to composed music as well.
